Patrice,
rather the burden is upon you to provide a rationale for not using midpoints, which are a direct result of the Axel Harvey Mathemetical Formula of Astrological Functions. For the rest, I do not think that the complexity of the local world is to be reduced merely to some psychological topoi, which in themselves are merely cultural artefacts.
feliciter,

I am sending this in a boring plain text format, not including drawings and
formatting. I am using capital letters in a place of bold text.
Midpoints are basic combinations of any 3 planets or points where one is in
the center between two others. There is a common misunderstanding about the
nature of midpoints. They are not just some extra, additional placements on
the chart. To the contrary, they don’t change components, THEY ENHANCE
THEIR MEANING. We have to remember that different meanings and
interpretations apply to midpoints on the natal chart, and are different
than directions and/or transiting midpoints (or midpoints in transit).
> >From all applications, the most important midpoints are those on the natal
chart: The adjacent (bordering) planets define in a more precise way the
meaning of the central one. In their unique combinations they describe the
individual character of each specific factor. In this way midpoints allow
for a more precise and more personal interpretation.
At the same time midpoints function as aspects indicating influence and the
sequence of influences that are subject to early conditioning. Close
midpoints within a narrow orb usually not exceeding a couple of degrees
(1percent of the wave), may also be interpreted as harmonic “conjunctions”
or harmonic “oppositions,” planets that are or close together or opposite
each other on the harmonic chart.
Let us take as an example a combination of three planets from a horoscope:
Here we have Mercury, Moon and Saturn (counting counterclockwise) when Moon
is the center planet. THIS WHOLE COMBINATION THEN RELATES TO MOON, and it
explains the MEANING of this particular planet in her particular
surrounding. Mercury (mind, mental faculties) is stimulating emotions Moon
(triggers emotional impulses, mood, in relation to the process of mind);
emotions in turn are subject to control and restrictions in their expression
by Saturn (reason, sensibility). The possible outcome is a self-limiting of
to the person’s own ideas and desires, shows caution, deliberation, a
tendency to contemplation or simply a lack of confidence.
Looking for cause we have to remember that the Moon in a personal horoscope
brings some information about the mother of a subject. This horoscope is
also an event chart of a mother! Here we have a picture of her probable
emotional stress and feelings of insecurity. While to a child the most
important thing is security, warm and caring surroundings (a well balanced
emotionally, happy mother), this particular planetary combination is
suggesting otherwise, that mother was somewhat too absorbed with her own
situation as a result of the birth and (most likely) her relationship
(Moon/Saturn is a reference to mother and father), to be able to provide a
feeling of safety.
Here the midpoint of Moon is equally spaced with the difference of less than half of degree. This is an acceptable orb for any midpoint. This spacing is also an indicator of time that in addition is relevant to this planet: ten degrees both ways from the Moon position would equal approximately ten years of life, and will suggest that this was a significant time in the life of the individual. Here we see the possibility of the lack of support from home, from family (sometimes this can mean a lack of home), support that was much needed at the time (this whole pattern will be again active as directions at the age of approximately twenty years of life, bringing similarities to the life of individual). The sequence of this midpoint is one more factor to be taken into consideration. Mind (Mercury) stimulates emotions (Moon), but common sense (Saturn) is bringing this to a stop. A much different interpretation will be with the same pattern but in a reverse sequence. This is only one example of a possible Moon midpoint. On the original chart we have more planets involved, and in this case we also have the combination of Moon = Mercury/Saturn ; which will have also to be integrated also into the whole Moon picture.

Well, Patrice, that statement is ONLY opinion and contains no content other than opinion. I'd like to see something like an argument before the judgement, your honor. As you know, the intent of this list is to get people to justify their claims.
If horary is so trivial then dismissing it by use of logical argument should be easy. I'm listening.

Easy to say, harder to prove. You've only provided a list of opinions and no reasoning.
Are you trying to say that horaray is fake?
