It would be nice to start any discussion in this list. Maybe once a month there is something that comes through and that is it.

As far as being banished, that is typical of mailing lists. I got banished from one for not being sufficiently worshipful to the memory of Princess Di, when others were finding signs of sainthood in her chart. (I thought she was a spoiled little child).

Most of the astrology mailing lists are nothing more than chat groups with no real interest in astrological discussion. If someone wants to talk about Di, then the chart for the final car ride is a great source of astrological material. A combust retrograde Mercury square Pluto. What an indicator of all the spins that were going to get put on the story? But, the majority of astrology groups want to gossip and chat, not really get into a good examination of astrological principles.

I would love to get some discussions going on horary and event astrology, but it is almost impossible to get anything going. At least with this group, it is mostly silence. Which beats inane chatter.

If you want to talk about house systems, go ahead. I don't object.
